 Tibetan Medical Consultations: As part of Tibet Foundation's ongoing Tibetan Medicine programme, Dr. Tsewang Tamdin will conduct medical consultations in London and Birmingham..... Dr. Tsewang Tamdin is Consultant and advisor at Tibetan Medical & Astrological Institute (TMAI) in Dharamsala, and a prominent and highly respected doctor in Tibetan community, also Associate Member of the British Acupuncture Association, London. Consultations (info & for appointment: 020 7930 6001): Birmingham: Sat 19th December, 2009 London: Tues 15th Dec - Friday 18th Dec, & Sun 20th Dec, 2009 12th December, 2009 Dalai Lama's Peace Initiatives Celebration In celebration of the Nobel Peace Prize award to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Community in Britain and Tibet Foundation are jointly organising this special 20th anniversary event with an exciting programme. Speakers will include His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Representative Thubten Samdup and Chairman of Tibet Society Fredrick Hyde-Chambers. There will be a presentation of special Tibetan songs and music by the Tibetan Community Dance Group. Tibetan Gorshey (folk circle dance) will be led by Tibetan dancers before everyone hits the floor to music ranging from Tibetan pop music and Bollywood to R&B tunes.
